Vote for European Art Galllery for Best Art Gallery in North Texas
Please my dear readers, take two seconds of your time to vote for us online by clicking the link, and tell your friends to as well. It is a two-horse race any the competition has only been around for a few months, but they have managed to get out the vote. I would be INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL.

Blog I hath Forsaken Thee....

It's true.....there is no excuse that after seven years of diligence, I have forsaken thee recently. My explanations are tenfold and legitimate..but that is no excuse.
Perhaps the #1 reason for the neglect is that, through Facebook, I seem to have found a more efficient means of accomplishing what this blog was intended to accomplish back in January of 2002: namely giving people a way to stay in touch with me, and vice versa. Facebook didn't exist back then....heck Joe the Plumber didn't even exist back then.
Much like our country's economy, this blog will have its heyday again....it's gone on too long for it not to. It also serves as remarkable time capsule and a great way to remind myself of woo the seemingly urgent matters of the moment seem to meld away in time. It gives great perspective.
Like most everyone else's, my life is hectic right now. It is a tumultuous time for sure. People in general are having a hard go of it, and realistically, there is more of it to come. But when people talk about this being the end of the world, it makes me laugh. I mean heck my grandparents endured worse than what anyone I know personally is facing. They came out ok and are about celebrate the 66th wedding anniversary.
However I have much to be thankful for. I have a wonderful girlfriend (you really should meet her). We recently celebrated our six month anniversary since our first date. I know it may not seem impressive for a 29 year old to be dating someone for a whopping six months, but believe me, with the way I'm romantically hard-wired , that is a SIGNIFICANT milestone. Tara is a fantastic, supportive, loving, smart, (and did I mentioned, sexy?) girlfriend and I am very lucky indeed to have her in my life.
